The relationship between Future Bounce’s Jamz Supernova and quest?onmarq (they/them) has been one curated by the internet. First discovering them via Soundcloud, quest?onmarq has since become a go-to for Jamz when looking for new music. It’s no surprise then, that they now arrive on Future Bounce for their debut release with the label, providing an explosive 2 track EP.

As a producer and DJ, New-York native quest?onmarq has always had both hands and feet in the rave. Their residencies with Rinse France and The Lot Radio, along with sets globally from Bossa Nova NYC to Berlin’s Panorama Bar, have become prolific for their unpredictability. The only certainty being they’re armed with three decks, two hands and one mic.

Their music commands the basal sensibilities of the manifold genres, harnessing and mutating forms with their distinct perspective on club sounds. Their forthcoming EP on Future Bounce embodies this with out-and-out hyperactive tendency, featuring a jersey club tinged techno track and an EBM-style acid march featuring Neana. Of quest?onmarq’s addition to the Future Bounce family, Jamz says “It's a very proud moment that the stars have aligned and the power of the internet has brought us together. We're both each other's cheerleaders as POC's in the electronic music scene, so this collaboration feels like the perfect next step in our friendship.”

quest?onmarq says of the release “I’m excited to share two high voltage, high energy tracks with Future Bounce. “Contagion” was made in London after spending a summer in Berlin & is designed to unapologetically tear up a room. “Spinout” was made with Neana in an overnight studio session. We tried to create the feeling of slinking through a crowded club going full tilt at peak time!”
